Join in on the fun and discovery our new class offering, AcroYoga! Learn the alignment and technique to make this addictive practice approachable and safe for all ages and fitness levels.
A typical class will consist of a warm-up, demonstrations of static poses and the transitions between them, and practice time to try out what we’ve learned, all in a supportive and welcoming atmosphere. Best of all, Acro is an exciting way to stay in shape and improve flexibility, without even realizing that you’re getting a workout!
No experience or partner required!

Participation in the preceding class is not required!
The proposed schedule is:
Friday Class: 6:00pm to 7:30pm
Friday Jam: 7:30pm to 8:30pm (or beyond!)
Saturday Class: 2:00pm to 3:30pm
Saturday Jam: 3:30pm to 4:30pm

Chris Thornton has been practicing and teaching small-group Acro for two years. You are likely to find him in a park on a sunny day absorbed in the Seattle Acro community and inviting passersby to give it a whirl! With a passion for both sharing knowledge and learning from others, he is excited to be a part of bringing regular AcroYoga opportunities to West Seattle!
