Natalie Doud

Aerial Arts Instructor, Equilibrium Fitness

Natalie Doud

Natalie Doud has been practicing aerial arts for over eight years. After learning Lyra (a hanging steel hoop) and aerial silks, she invented a modified tripod silks apparatus called the “Trinidad” to allow for acrobatics in parks and rooms with low ceilings.

As an instructor and performer in Minnesota, she pioneered new techniques and apparatuses and taught experienced acrobats the art of aerial innovation. She has taught aerial arts to YMCA children, adults with Parkinsons, pregnant women and everything in between for two years. Coming from a background of entrepreneurship and creativity workshops, she brings innovation to aerial arts.

Experience:

“I want to see the field of aerial arts blossom by pushing new frontiers of exploration and fostering a sense of possibility.”

Natalie’s background as a performer includes acrobatic performances and collaborations involving acro-yoga, aerial swing dance, silks, chains, and other innovative apparatuses. She even competed on season 7 of American Ninja Warrior.

“Today, let us do: What yesterday believed impossible, and tomorrow deems trivial.”
